Houseplant of the Week

As you may have noticed in my "all about me section" I am addicted to photosynthesis! What better way to show my appreciation to my houseplant than to spotlight each one every week...don't worry, I have enough to keep it interesting for sure! And this week the award goes to.....drum roll please... St. Nick the Christmas cactus!

Size: About 1 ft. tall
Age: He was my great grandmother Alverda Morgan's so he is plenty old!
Bloom Color: A lovely pink/fuchsia bloom just in time for Christmas!
Residence: On the file cabinet between the cat scratching post and the book shelf where he gets filtered sun.

Congratulations St. Nick on being selected as the first houseplant of the week and for filling the house with such wonderful color in the dead of winter!!
