Ode to Eula

The passing of my great aunt Eula Welker this past week got me reflecting on her life. She was a great woman! As attested to by the number of participants at her funeral she was also a well loved individual. It was a great funeral and it was fun to get to know more about her childhood. The thing that I remember about her the most was her ability to be absolutely straight forward with people. You knew exactly where she stood and where you stood with her, and she could tell you without stepping on your toes. That is a real talent. She will be missed!
