I was at a craft store the other day and was inspired by all of the beautiful yarn that is available and decided to buy a crocheting needle and try my hand at it. I used to spend time with my Grandma Welker who was the one that first showed me how to crochet. Over the years she, as well as my other Grandmothers, have always given us warm, home made crocheted things. I was amazed that I still remembered how to do it and I am currently working on a warm chocolate brown twirly scarf!

Awesome! You are a blogging maniac! I can't wait to see the scarf when you are all done. I am still working on a sweater for Jason. You may not see the completed work until we move back that direction. Yes it will take me that long.
That is so pretty. You'll have to come over and teach me and Maelynn a thing or two about knitting.
Thanks again for coming to Perkins last night. It was fun. Check out my tribute to Glenn! =)
